We are looking for a

Business Development Manager – solid colors (all gender) working full-time (partial hybrid)


Your main responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify new solid color business opportunities, new potential customers, new product needs through commercial prospecting, meeting, networking with decision makers from the decor industry.
  • Identification of customer requirements and color demands. Perform market /product / competition analysis and provide strategic recommendations and advice to grow our sales performance.
  • Define in coordination with sales the color development plans and forecasting sales targets.
  • Generate new profitable business to increase sales volumes and to support the company growth.
  • Visit existing and prospective clients to promote our new solid color developments and trend collections.
  • Support our sales manager team to reach their solid color volume and profitability targets.
  • Work in cooperation with our design studio to define our solid color trend collections and in producing regular trend reports.
  • Visiting and attending conferences, meetings, industry events and fairs.
  • Evaluate and monitor the overall solid color performance (sales & profitability KPI’s,…)

Your profile

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, marketing, or similar
  • Fluent into English and German languages (C1-C2 level)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Working experience as a business development manager, sales manager or in commercial prospecting role.
  • Knowledge in colors, design and trends ideally in the furniture and home decoration sector
  • Excellent communication, sharp negotiation, and networking skills
  • Knowledge in customer acquisition processes, in sales growth tactics and in marketing go to market approach.
  • High level of motivation and commitment for team results, high achievement & performance orientation
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize activities to achieve customer and business objectives.
  • Readiness to travel.
